About People Playground

People Playground is a physics sandbox with no goals, no rules, and no limits. You spawn ragdoll humans onto an open stage and subject them to anything the game's enormous toolkit will allow: guns, explosives, electricity, fire, acid, blades, vehicles, and physics contraptions of your own design.

The appeal of People Playground is pure experimentation. What happens if you chain two people together and pull them apart at high speed? What happens if you electrocute a human sitting in a puddle while another holds a metal rod? What happens if you drop a piano on five people stacked on top of each other? The game answers every question with committed, screaming-loud physics.

The object spawner is the star feature. Every item has physical properties — weight, conductivity, flammability, elasticity. You can chain objects together, attach motors, build contraptions that generate chain reactions. The community has built cars, rollercoasters, trebuchets, and elaborate execution rigs purely from scratch.

People Playground's modding community has expanded the base game enormously — new objects, new effects, new human types. The UBGHyper version is the unmodded browser build, but the base content alone takes hours to fully explore.

Sessions typically go: spawn 3 humans, try something stupid, laugh, undo, try something worse. The undo button (Ctrl+Z) is essential. So is the volume slider.

How to play People Playground

Controls. Left-click — select/drag objects. Right-click — spawn context menu. WASD — pan camera. Scroll — zoom. Delete — remove selected. Ctrl+Z — undo.

Tips:

• The Toolbar at the top holds every object category — explore it systematically before free-building.
• Chain objects together using the Connect tool to build contraptions.
• Electricity + water + metal creates the best chain reactions for minimal setup.
• Use the Undo button aggressively — it's your best friend in a physics sandbox.
