Two stiff-legged fighters stand on a rooftop, each with a single gun, and the goal is exactly as simple and chaotic as before: use your shots to knock your opponent off the edge. First to five wins.

You still have only two inputs — one to jump, one to shoot — and every shot delivers recoil that shoves both players backward. So "sniping" is really a physics shoving match: you fire to push your rival toward the edge, jump to keep yourself from being knocked off, and try to time both against a character that lurches around like a puppet. The result is pure slapstick, where duels are decided by lucky bounces and mistimed jumps as much as by skill.

The sequel expands the roster and the stages, swapping the plain rooftop for new precarious arenas with their own layouts and hazards that change the shoving dynamics. But the core loop is untouched: instantly learnable, endlessly rematchable, and funniest with a friend on the other set of keys.

Like the original, it's the definitive "grab whoever's nearby" game — no learning curve, so a second player is competitive in a single round. You can also duel the CPU when you're on your own, though the real fun is the human-versus-human trash talk of a best-of-five.

How to play Rooftop Snipers 2

Controls. Player 1: W to jump, E to shoot. Player 2: I to jump, O to shoot. Two buttons each — the recoil from firing shoves both players, so shooting is how you push your opponent off the rooftop. First to five points wins.

Tips:

• Fire when your opponent is near the edge — it's the recoil push, not a "hit," that knocks them off.
