About Granny 2
Granny 2 is the horror-escape sequel from DVloper, and the twist is right there in the setup: this time Granny isn't alone. She's joined by Grandpa, and the two of them hunt very differently. Granny hears everything — a dropped jar, a slammed door, footsteps on a creaky board and she's sprinting at you. Grandpa is hard of hearing, so noise barely registers, but he hits much harder when he catches you and patrols on his own schedule. Learning to play the pair off each other is the whole game.
You're locked in their house with five days to escape, and every time you're caught you wake back up in the bedroom having lost a day. Escape isn't one locked door — there are several routes out (the main door, the car, a boat, hidden hatches), each needing a chain of keys, gears, and tools scattered across rooms that are themselves guarded, trapped, or noisy to open. The map is bigger than the first Granny, with more floors, more drawers to rummage, and more bear traps waiting under the dark.
What makes Granny 2 tense rather than cheap is information management. You're constantly weighing risk: do you sneak into the room where Granny just walked, or wait and lose precious seconds? Do you grab the item now and risk the noise, or come back when Grandpa's path clears? Hiding spots — wardrobes and under beds — buy you time, but a pursuer who saw you duck will come check.
Difficulty scales hard, from Practice (no enemies, learn the layout) up through Easy, Normal, Hard and Extreme, where the AI is relentless and your margin for a single mistake is basically zero. Practice mode is genuinely the smart way in: map the house with no pressure, then turn the monsters on.

How to play Granny 2
Controls. WASD or arrow keys to move, mouse to look around. Left-click or E to interact and pick up items; right-click / Q to drop. Hide inside wardrobes and under beds, and throw items to make noise and lure a pursuer the wrong way.
Tips:
- Move slowly near Granny — she reacts to running, dropped items, and slammed doors. Grandpa barely hears, so save your noise for when he's the one nearby.
- Close drawers and doors gently behind you. An open door is a dead giveaway that you were just there.
- Use Grandpa's slow patrol to your advantage — lure him into a far room, then work the area he just left.
- Run Practice mode first to memorise where the keys, gears and traps are, then switch the enemies on.
Frequently asked questions
Who made Granny 2 and what's new compared to Granny 1?
Granny 2 is by DVloper. The big addition is Grandpa — a second hunter who can't hear well but hits harder — plus a larger house and more ways to escape. You now have to manage two enemies with completely different behaviour.
How many days do you have to escape in Granny 2?
Five days. Each time a hunter catches you, you wake back in the bedroom and lose a day. Run out of days and it's game over.
What are the difficulty modes in Granny 2?
Practice (no enemies), Easy, Normal, Hard, and Extreme. Practice is the best way to learn the house layout before turning the monsters on; Extreme leaves almost no room for mistakes.
Is Granny 2 free and unblocked at school?
Yes — Granny 2 runs entirely in your browser at UBGHyper with no download, no install, and no account, so it works on most school Chromebooks.
Is the browser version the same as the mobile Granny 2?
It's the same horror-escape game DVloper released, playable here in the browser with keyboard-and-mouse controls instead of touch. Your progress is stored locally in your browser.
