1v1.LOL is a build-and-shoot game that turns the building mechanics of battle-royale shooters into a fast, focused duel. You drop into an arena and fight using two intertwined skills at once: aiming your weapons and instantly throwing up walls, ramps, floors and roofs to protect yourself, gain high ground, and push an opponent. It's the practice-arena distilled — pure mechanics, no loot grind.

The building is what sets 1v1.LOL apart from ordinary browser shooters. You can place structures in a fraction of a second, edit them into windows and doorways, and use ramps to rush an enemy from above. Great players "build fight" — a rapid back-and-forth of walls and edits where whoever controls the high ground usually wins the exchange. Learning to build and shoot at the same time is the entire skill curve, and it's deep.

There's more than one way to play. The headline 1v1 mode pits you against another player in a build battle, but there are also Box Fight and Zone Wars-style modes, a Party mode for friends, and a battle-royale option when you want a bigger fight. Because everything runs in the browser, you can practise the same building drills people grind in bigger shooters without any download.

How to play 1v1.LOL

Controls. WASD move, mouse aim, left-click shoot. Space jump. Build with Q (wall), C (ramp), V (floor) and F (roof) — keys vary by layout and can be rebound. Number keys or 1–5 swap between weapons and building/edit mode. G or right-click edits a structure.

Tips:

• Wall then ramp: drop a wall for cover, then a ramp behind it to take high ground. Height wins almost every fight.
• Practise building and aiming together — swapping between them smoothly matters more than raw aim.
• Edit walls into windows to peek and shoot, then re-close them. Editing is faster than rebuilding.
• Rebind the build keys to whatever your fingers reach fastest. Default layouts slow most new players down.
