About Riddle School 1
Riddle School is the point-and-click adventure that a whole generation played instead of doing classwork — which is fitting, because the entire game is about escaping class. You play Phil Eggtree, a bored student determined to break out of school, and you do it the classic adventure-game way: clicking around each room, picking up items, combining them, and using them on the environment and on hilariously oblivious teachers to solve your way to freedom.
The charm is in its dry humour and clever, self-contained puzzles. You'll swipe a hall pass, distract a teacher, rig up an unlikely contraption from a paperclip and a piece of gum, and generally outwit an adult world that never quite notices what you're up to. Every puzzle has that satisfying "of course!" logic once you spot it, and the writing keeps a knowing, comedic tone throughout.
As a browser point-and-click, it's beautifully approachable: no reflexes, no timers, just observation and lateral thinking. You examine everything, talk to everyone, and try items in unexpected places until the path forward clicks. Getting stuck is part of the fun — the solution is usually hiding in something you already clicked past.
Riddle School kicked off a beloved series (Riddle School 1 through 5, plus Riddle Transfer) with recurring characters and escalating, increasingly absurd escape scenarios. This first entry is where Phil's break-out saga begins, and it's the perfect gateway into old-school Flash adventure gaming, preserved and playable in the browser.
Riddle School was created by Jonochrome (Jonoahmedeh). Play it unblocked at UBGHyper free in your browser. If you enjoy it, the sequels and Wheely offer more click-to-solve puzzling.

- Try using inventory items in unexpected places; the solution is usually a creative combination.

- If you're stuck, revisit rooms you've already cleared — a new item may open up an old spot.
