The premise is simple: balloons (called "bloons") follow a path from spawn to exit. You place monkey towers along the path that pop the bloons before they escape. Money from popping bloons buys more towers and upgrades. Make it through 100+ rounds without letting too many bloons through.

What makes Bloons TD 5 the franchise's best is the upgrade depth. Each tower has two specialization paths with 4 tiers each. The Sniper monkey can become a deadly long-range bullet specialist OR a slow, area-denial cannon. The Boomerang can be a hit-everything-you-pass tank OR a single-target precision hammer. Combinations matter — paired towers deal more damage than the sum of their parts.

Controls. Mouse only — click towers in the sidebar to place them, click placed towers to buy upgrades.

Tips:

• Spam Dart Monkeys with the Triple Darts upgrade for the early-game.
• Always have at least one Super Monkey by round 60.
• Buy a Banana Farm by round 15 — passive income wins late-game.
• Diversify damage types: physical, sharp, fire, and explosive each pop different bloon types.
